MEALSaver Terms of Service & Food-Safety Disclaimer

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MEALSaver mobile application (the “App”) provided by I5 Ventures LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

MEALSaver helps you plan meals around local grocery deals, manage a pantry and grocery lists, and generate AI-assisted meal plans and recipes. Some features require a paid subscription (see Section 6).

2. ⚠️ Food-safety disclaimer (please read)

MEALSaver does not guarantee that any recipe, cooking time, temperature, or instruction is safe, accurate, or complete. You are solely responsible for safe food handling, preparation, and cooking.

In particular:

Verify doneness yourself. Cooking times and temperatures provided in the

App are estimates. Always use a food thermometer and cook foods to the safe minimum internal temperatures recommended by a trusted authority (e.g., the USDA), regardless of what the App suggests.

Allergens & dietary restrictions. The App may not identify all allergens or

correctly honor every dietary restriction. Always read ingredient labels and verify suitability yourself, especially for allergies, intolerances, or medical diets. Do not rely on the App if you have a severe allergy.

Ingredient handling. Follow proper storage, thawing, cross-contamination,

and hygiene practices. The App’s pantry/expiry features are reminders only and are not a guarantee that food is safe to eat.

If in doubt, throw it out, and consult a qualified professional.

3. ⚠️ AI-generated content

Recipes, meal plans, descriptions, and instructions may be generated by artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate, and may occasionally produce unsafe or nonsensical suggestions. Use your own judgment and verify everything before relying on it. AI-generated content is provided for convenience and inspiration only.

4. Not nutritional, medical, or dietary advice

The App is for general informational and convenience purposes only and does not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, or health advice. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified physician, dietitian, or other healthcare professional. Consult a professional before making dietary changes, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, have a medical condition, or have food allergies.

5. Deals, prices, and savings

Deal and price information is sourced from third-party providers and retailers and may be inaccurate, outdated, regional, or unavailable. We do not guarantee any price, discount, product availability, or amount of savings. “Estimated savings” figures are estimates only. Always confirm current prices and availability with the retailer before purchasing. We are not responsible for third-party data or for any retailer’s pricing or honoring of any deal.

6. Subscriptions, billing, and cancellation

MEALSaver offers an optional auto-renewing subscription (“Premium”).
Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at

confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price unless canceled

at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store / Google Play account

settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region and change

over time. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refunds are handled by the applicable app store under its policies.

Free-tier usage limits (e.g., a limited number of AI generations) may change.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misuse or abuse the AI features (including attempting to bypass usage limits), reverse engineer or interfere with the App, use the App for any unlawful purpose, or scrape or resell data obtained through the App.

8. Intellectual property

The App and its original content (excluding your own content and third-party data) are owned by us and protected by law. You retain ownership of the content you create. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to operate the App for you.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, ACCURATE, OR SECURE.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, I5 Ventures LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM FOODBORNE ILLNESS, ALLERGIC REACTION, INJURY, SPOILAGE, RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT, OR INACCURATE DEAL/PRICE INFORMATION. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless I5 Ventures LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes and termination

We may modify the App or these Terms at any time; material changes will be noted by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, in-App notice. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Louisiana.
